About WanaGo
Travel doesn't start with a place anymore.
It starts with a Reel. A friend's story. A two-second moment of "that looks unreal." The booking decision happens hours, days or months later — but the sentence is always the same: I want to go.
WanaGo names that sentence. It is the experience-first booking portal for Africa, built on four principles that the incumbents structurally cannot copy.
Verb-first, not destination-first.
Every other travel brand names a place, a mode or a category. WanaGo names the verb. The homepage is one search box. Type what you want to do.
Creator-fluent.
Every creator we approve gets a single bookable bio link. Every Reel can become an itinerary. They earn when followers go. The first link in their bio that pays them back.
Curator-rated.
Each experience on the shelf is signed by a named curator. Authority over crowd average. The lesson learned from watching star ratings flatten the world's most interesting places into commodity tours.
Regenerative by default.
Every booking carries a published, line-itemed contribution to the wild place it borrows. Not a checkbox. A receipt.
A company in the group.
WanaGo is a sibling company in the HeronAfrica Experience Group. HeronAfrica is the curator-led tier inside it — the most considered shelf, with named-author circuits and IP-owned products. WanaGo is the wider portal. They share users, content, partners and an operating spine. They serve different audiences with different voices.
